Today we announce the release of TLMP16, a live recording by noise/improv duo Larmoyant. This short concert was recorded in 2007 and includes (for the occasion) all three Twilight Luggage staff members on various instruments and electronic devices. This is the first release from Larmoyant since 2000.

By some kind of human error, the original zip-file containing the Boe album "Low Harbour" had a slight quality issue. Not a big one, but by coincidence we discovered that the sound level of the MP3-files were much lower than they should. We have put up a new version of the album, this time with peak levels more suitable for loud listening. We apologize for the inconvenience and invite you to download the album again if you find the original download to be a bit quiet. This new version is also a slightly smaller download, due to the original files being encoded in CBR rather than VBR.

In other news, we finally have our own offices and studios! Sounds grand, but in reality it is one 19 square meter (about 200 sq ft to you Americans) room. We are moving in this weekend, and hope to be properly installed within a short while. Yay.

The next few months will see several new releases on the Twilight Luggage label. First out is a new CD-R from Flesh Coffin on May 1, titled "Curtains". It is a limited release, only 30 copies that will include an A4-sized poster and a button! Next is a double-dip on May 15; Kanin Krusete and Boe both release MP3-albums for free download, titled "Like A Thing" and "Low Harbour" respectively. On June 1, the long announced Larmoyant live-album, "Live At Robot" will finally see the light of day, also a free MP3 release. Our last album to be announced today is the collection "Summer Solstice". We have asked many of our favorite artists to contribute to this free MP3 album to follow our winter release, "Winter Solstice". The release date is, of course, June 21. More details to follow, but this already looks to be a killer collection! Stay tuned.

We are very proud to release an album that is a not only a collaboration between two very talented artists, but also a collaboration between two labels. Torture Gnosis is a duo consisting of Andreas Brandal and Dave Obm. On their self-titled debut album you get a unique blend of True Sheffield Black Psychedelia and experimental weirdness from the deep, cold woods of Norway. Andreas is from Bergen, Norway, and co-runs Twilight Luggage. Dave is from Sheffield, England and co-runs the Frequency Thirteen label.

The album is a split release between the two labels. It will be available in 2 different CD-R versions: An unlimited version in a plastic sleeve, and a digipak version with a different cover, limited to 50 copies. These are available from Frequency Thirteen. The album also comes as a free download available from Twilight Luggage, released as TLMP12.

We are a bit late with promised news about the label, but we would like to welcome aboard our new staff-member, Jarle Nordvik. Some of you will recognize him as a contributor to our Winter Solstice collection. From now on he will also contribute to the work that is put down in developing Twilight Luggage further as a label. We have great plans for 2009!

Today is Twilight Luggage's 1 year anniversary. It is 1 year since our first release, and we celebrate the occasion by releasing our 12th free MP3-album and launching our anniversary sale. First things first; TLMP11 is "Empire" by Nihil Obstat. As usual, the zip-file includes high-quality artwork and high-bitrate MP3s. This album is also our first release using a Creative Commons license. We hope to implement this license on a wider scale soon.

We have also decided to cut the price on most of our CD-R releases (2 out of 3 ain't bad). TLCD02 and TLCD04 are now only €10,- including worldwide shipping!
