Stormhat

"Stormhat" is the danish soundartist Peter Bach Nicolaisen who since around 2004 has released several albums on labels such as Cohort Records, Diophantine Discs, Bleak, A Beard of Snails, Apollolaan and a couple more.

Stormhat works with fieldrecordings, noises, rudimentary instruments, radio, noisegenerators. The goal of Stormhat's sound is to lull the listener into sweet and and maybe not so sweet reveries. The genre could maybe be called psychedelic electro-acoustic dark new age…or maybe not.

Stormhat finds inspiration in alternative gardening, serendipity and the enjoyment of almost heavenly pleasures and strictly earthly plights.
