"Empire" is a gloomy piece of work. Waves of fuzzy drones, creepy noise walls, and industrial shadows. A walk through the rainy streets of Nightmare City.

Nihil Obstat is the experimental industrial noise power electronics project of John Lithium. Formed in 2007 over the remnants of an older, more primative group, Nihil Obstat's only goal is the creation of foreboding industrial nightmares, free from the restricting conventions of 'controversial' ideologies or 'shock tactic' conventions.
