"Threnody for Gus Remolten" is a sonic epitaph by Consistency Nature (Dishdawash Arnett), honoring the album's eponymous noisemaker with a collection of utterly strange and unsettling soundwork. The download comes with a PDF containing notes by Mr. Arnett. Here he writes:

"Many of the recordings used within this homage and hymn were created by me destroying his machine. Leaving it in the rain, digging with it, scraping it against concrete, and hitting it with firecrackers. Here is the music of my nightmares. The fever dream in the desolate tundra of Gus Remolten's birthdeath experience. Like the tape recorder, time punctures and ruptures my collective of organic being".
